An extensive complex of an originally Gothic castle, founded in the 11th century a remodeled in Neo-Gothic style in the 19th century.

The complex includes a garden, romantic interiors painted in an original trompe l’oeil style a furnished with period accessories, natural collections, and a porcelain exhibit. An oddity: a collection of stuffed cats and dogs, once belonging to the eccentric owner of the chateau, baron Haase of Haasenfeld, can also be viewed.
