Chlumec nad Cidlinou
An early 18th-century Baroque chateau built for Count F.F. Kinsky by the architect F.M. Kaňka based upon a plan by J.B. Santini. In 1943 the castle burned down, its renovation was completed in 1968.
The interiors are furnished with articles from the Kinsky family collections evocative of the original decorations. There is an exhibition on the Kinsky family history a the breeding of the Chlumec horses.
