Jevišovice – The Old Chateau

A remarkable chateau complex; originally a Gothic castle belonging to the Lords of Kunštát dating back to the turn of the 13th/14th century, later expanded in the late Gothic style, remodeled in the Renaissance style, with later Baroque alternations.

Renovated to serve as a museum featuring an exhibition on folk furniture and keyboard musical instruments, as well as a permanent exhibit on the history of the region. The largest collection of painted furniture in Moravia.
