Kutná Hora – Italian Court
Originally a fortified royal seat, converted in 1300 into a mint. During the reign of Wenceslas IV a new palace was added, as well as a chapel with an oriel and a tower. In the 19th century, the complex was partially remodeled in the pseudo-Gothic style.
Exhibition: the coinages of Kutná Hora, the royal mint, the former royal reception hall, chapel of St. Wenceslas and St. Ladislav. A permanent exhibition, “The World of Czech Coins and Medals”. Coinage demonstration. Part of the building is occupied by the Felix Jenewein Gallery and the Kutná Hora Municipal Office.
