Olomouc

The most significant sacral building of Olomouc is the Church of St. Wenceslas from the year 1109. It was rebuilt in 1883-1890 in the Neo-Gothic style.

Other important sights of Olomouc are The Archbishop´s Palace, Hradisko - the oldest Moravian monastery in the superb of Olomouc, and the St. Maurice´s Church – the biggest Gothic church in Moravia from the 15th-16th centuries, famous with its organ from the workshop of master Engler of Vratislav. The Column of the Holy Trinity with 51 sculptures is included in the UNESCO list of the world cultural heritage. It is considered the biggest Baroque sculptural group in the middle Europe.
