Ostrožská Nová Ves

The Spa at Ostrožská Nová Ves lies 8 km from the district town of Uherské Hradiště in the very heart of of the Slovácko Region. The sulphurous spa area at Ostrožská Nová Ves was established in 1903, when chemical tests and experiments confirmed the curative properties of the water from the surrounding swamps and marshes.

Two types of sulphurus spring water are rich in silicic acid, calcium, sodium, magnesium, potassium and iron.
