Velichovky as private medical spa facility with more than one hundred years of tradition, specializing mainly on rehabilitation of patients with diseases of the locomotor system of patients after accidents, before and after surgery of bones and joints, including joint replacement. Treatment is provided in close cooperation with leading experts from the University Clinic Orthopedic Hospital in Hradec Kralove, Hospital Na Homolce, Bulovka Hospital and other hospitals.
The unique reputation of the spa helps the local very thick mud, its unique composition in the Czech Republic. This is a chalky peat soil, fed by springs of water containing calcium and iron. Bearing, which is located near the spa area, the supply of this unique peat soils at 150 – 200 years.
After the reconstruction of the right part of Masaryk's house in 2005 - 2006 highly improve the level of accommodation. All rooms in this section are superbly equipped and meet the demanding requirements of our clients.
In 2006 was also completed the reconstruction of a new balneotherapy, where is provided water therapy, mud baths, rehabilitation exercises, whirlpool baths and other baths.
In 2007 was opened a new Institute Medical Wellness. This section provides the highest quality of services, including all the comfort of the client expects.
Medical Wellness Institute is available to the general public every day from 8.00 to 20.00.
Private Environment Institute will bring you into a world of peace and relaxation, where your body and mind recover lost energy.

You definitely will not get bored. You can spend your free time at the spa in different activities like a pleasant walk or visiting some of the cultural events held in the spa area.
There are a wide range of activities for sports-minded. You can discover the beauty of nature and close to sights on a bike as the Chateau Kuks, you can play tennis or squash, stretch the muscles in the fitness cente or bowling. There is an available 27-hole course at the New America for golf enthusiasts. It is only 5 km far away.
Clients who wish to enjoy the spa comfort and tranquility can visit the various lectures and meetings, participate in tours of historic sites in the village, walk in the spa park, listen to a concert on the promenade, and hours later have fun at the dance in a restaurant.
