The Czech Republic is situated in Central Europe and is devided into three parts: Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia.
Our country’s borders are natural and are formed by Mountain ranges. The well-known Giant mountains with their resorts Špindlerův Mlýn or Harrachov and other mountains are available for ski holidays.
The longest rivers are the Vltava, the Elbe and the Morava. Cascades of dams were built on the Vltava River which flows from the Šumava mountains.
South Bohemia is rich in ponds (e.g. Rožmberk) and a lot of lakes in our republic attract tourists to water sports and relax.
Bohemia and Moravia are quite rich in mineral springs and spas - Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázne, Františkovy Lázne, Kynžvart, Podebrady, Luhaćovice, Jeseník, etc. These spa towns offer comprehensive spa treatment, various spa procedures and wellness services.
The attention of visitors attract also historical towns with various cultural events, castles, view-towers and caves.
All republic offers wide network of tourist services, accommodation of all categories, infocentres, tickets for concerts, gastro services etc.
