ZOO

Prague

The ZOO is located in the beautiful Troja basin with meadows, rocks and extensive water areas. The lower plain and damp part of the ZOO complex is separated from the upper dry one by a sizeable cliff. In the complex there is a children’s playground, two restaurants and other possibilities of refreshment and buying souvenirs. The ZOO is easily reachable by public transport (by underground, line C and by bus nr. 112).

Chomutov

The ZOO is located close to the town centre near the Kamencové Lake. The park is extensive; however walking trough the slightly wavy terrain with wooded slopes, grassy paddocks and large water reservoirs is comfortable and pleasant. Parking is situated in front of the entrance. Refreshment and souvenirs can be bought in the ZOO complex.

Děčín

The ZOO is located in the town centre on a sandstone hill called “Pastýřská stěna”, surrounded by a town wood park. It is reachable by walk, by car or by lift from the left bank of the river Labe. In the ZOO complex, there is a children’s playground, refreshment possibility and souvenirs stalls; a restaurant is situated nearby.

Dvůr Králové nad Labem

The complex consists of the classical ZOO situated on a plain, which is open all year round, and the seasonal safari, located in a mildly wavy terrain with a number of water areas. Part of the ZOO can be seen by car or little train. In front of the ZOO entrance gate there is a high-capacity parking place, in the complex you have several possibilities to buy some refreshment, souvenirs or promotional materials.

Liberec

The ZOO is located in a colourful valley near the town centre. Some parts of the ZOO territory are wooded, some free runs stretch to the rocky slopes. In the valley flows a stream. The paths for the visitors enable comfortable walks. In the ZOO complex there are new refreshment possibilities.

Plzeň (Pilsen)

The ZOO is situated in the Lochotín Park; it includes an arboretum and numerous botanical expositions, which are combined with the zoological expositions. The botanical greenhouse presents unique collections of succulent plants and reptiles from three different parts of the world. The parking place is located in front of the entrance gate, refreshment can be obtained in the ZOO complex. Another part of the ZOO is the AKVA-TERA exposition in the centre of Pilsen (Palackého nr.5)

Ústí nad Labem

It is located in the town quarter Krásné Březno on a slope with open meadows and park keeping. Both the upper and the lower parts are accessible by public transport. A children’s ZOO, a restaurant as well as the possibility of buying souvenirs is in the ZOO complex. Parking is situated in front of the lower entrance.

Zlín-Lešná

The Zoo is situated 8 km from Zlín in the direction to Lukov and Kostelec. In the chateau garden grow around 220 rare trees and bushes, some of them are 270 years old. A part of the garden is a deer-park and a number of water reservoirs. Central parking place and a stylish restaurant are situated in front of the ZOO complex, in the Zoo complex is a possibility of refreshment and souvenirs.
