Searching

How do I find hotels for the period I want to stay?
In the search menu on the left part of our homepage „Find your hotel“ please select the dates of your stay, city and category and click on „find“. From the found list of hotels you can choose and book the hotel or send us a request, if the hotel is not available online.

How do I search for hotels by price?
Use a section “Find accommodation” and search hotels. A search result you can sort by price (cheapest room) or also by stars, location or name.

How do I search for hotels with specific facilities such as, for example, a sauna?
Click on the link "Find accommodation" in the top menu of our homepage. Now you can define your search by selecting different facilities such as a "sauna."

Where can I find the directions to the hotel?
There are details on location and travel informations at the details of each hotel. There is also a „Map“ with a map of the area around the hotel.

Room Types

We have two small children; can we get extra beds in the room?
In general one extra bed for one child is available at a minor additional charge. However, please note that this possibility depends on each hotel’s policy and availability. We advise you to check the overview page of the hotel, or to send an email to b-group@b-group.cz.

Can I generally request an extra bed for the third person in a double room and at what costs?
It will depend on each hotel’s policy and availability. See overview page of the hotel, the part „Policies“. During your booking you can reserve the extra bed. The main price for a room will be raised.

Pricing

Are the rates of accommodation on your website per person or per room?
All rates on B-group website are per room and per stay.

Do I pay a reservation fee?
No, we will not charge you a reservation fee.

Is breakfast included in the price?
Price usually includes a breakfast. See a lower part of price table of a hotel, there is defined what price includes.

Are taxes included in the room rates?
Price usually includes all taxes. See a lower part of price table of a hotel, there is defined what price includes.

Do you offer any discounts?
There are discounts for children. It depends on hotel conditions. See overview page of the hotel, the part „Policies“. Alternative method how to use lower prices is utilize our „Special offer“. Some hotels offer also discounts for a long term stay.

Credit Cards and Payments

What currency will I pay in?
The prices are quoted in EUR. The payment by a credit card will be carried out in CZK (Czech Crown).

Why does B-group need my credit card details?
In case of booking an accommodation your credit card details are only required as a guarantee for the hotel in case you do not arrive or cancel too late. This might result in a no-show charge (generally the equivalent to one night's stay) by the hotel. B-group will not charge your credit card. You will pay for your stay at the hotel. In case of booking other our services (transfers, tours,..) your credit card details are required for payment which is required full in advance and as a guarantee for our company in case you cancel your ordered services too late.

Does the hotel need a deposit or a payment in advance?
You will pay for your stay at the hotel. However, note that some hotels perform a pre-authorisation check on your credit card as an extra guarantee. A pre-authorisation is a validity check to reserve a certain amount that would guarantee the room. This amount may correspond to the price of one night or to the total cost of your reservation. Once the credit card has been validated, the reserved amount will be released.

What types of credit card can I use to guarantee the reservation?
MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted as a guarantee. However, it is possible that the hotel does not accept all of these for payment. Please check it at the section for ‘Accepted credit cards’ in the “Policies” of the overview page of the hotel

I do not have a credit card. Can I still book a room?
You can send us your request on a hotel per email without making a reservation on-line. Then the payment can be made by bank transfer.

Is it safe to fill in my credit card number? How secure is the B-group website?
If you order an accommodation, we use the industry standard "Secure Socket Layer (SSL)" technology to encrypt your credit card details and also for a security of whole our server.
If you pay us for other services (transfers, optional tours,..) your credit card information is sent to us through a web 3D secure server operated by the company GLOBAL PAYMENTS (MUZO). It uses the latest, most secure technology available, which encrypts all your personal and credit card details.

Reservation Process

How do I know that my reservation is confirmed?
When you have completed the reservation process, an instant on-screen confirmation will appear. It will show your reservation details as well as your booking number. Within a couple of minutes, you will receive a confirmation email containing more information. You can also view your details of your reservation via „My Booking“ after filling your booking number.

Can I book a hotel room by telephone or email?
It is not necessary use only on-line system for making a reservation. You can phone or send an email to b-group@b-group.cz with your request for an accommodation.

I have booked a hotel but I did not receive a confirmation by email. What do I have to do?
The most common reason for not getting a confirmation email is typing your email address incorrectly. Therefore, please double check your email address before finalising your reservation. Also we have noticed that in some cases our confirmation email may end up in your spam folder. If you do not receive an email after you have made a booking, please send an email with your booking number and request for sending confirmation email to b-group@b-group.cz.

How many rooms can I book in one reservation?
A maximum of 3 rooms (if available) can be booked in any one reservation. If you want to make a reservation for more than 3 rooms, please use a section „Group booking“ on our website or send an email to b-group@b-group.cz.

Hotel Policies and Facilities

What are the check-in and check-out times of a hotel?
Check-in is a time when you can start your stay at a hotel and check-out is a time till when it is necessary vacate the room in the day of your departure. The check-in and check-out times differ. You will find them on the “Policies” section of the overview page of the hotel. If you are going to arrive late or very early, we advise you to let the hotel know in advance. You will find contacts of hotel in your confirmation email or on „My Booking“.

I will be arriving late in the evening at the hotel. Can I still check-in?
You will find the check-in times on the “Policies” section of the overview page of the hotel. We advise you to contact the hotel to make sure you can check-in late. Use contact details in your confirmation email or on „My Booking“.

What shall I do if my arrival is delayed?
Don’t worry! Your hotel rooms are reserved for you until 9.00 a.m. of the day following your arrival.

How do I know if the hotel has parking facilities?
On the overview page of the hotel, in the section „Facilities“, you will find information about parking facilities at or nearby the hotel. More informations about parking can be defined in the section „Policies“ or you can send an e-mail to b-group@b-group.cz with request for more details.

How do I find out if a hotel allows pets?
On the overview page of the hotel, in the section „Policies“, you will find information about pets and extra charges for it. If not, you can contact us: b-group@b-group.cz.

How do I find out if a hotel has a certain facility, e.g. a swimming-pool?
You can check the „Facilities” or pictograms on the overview page of the hotel.

Cancellation

How can I cancel or change my booking?
You can easily cancel your order online. Click on “My Booking” in the main web page, fill in your booking number, log on and follow the instructions. Cancellation of services must be made in writing (by e-mail, fax or per our web sites) to B-group. Or send us a request for a modification on: b-group@b-group.cz.

Do I pay a cancellation fee?
B-group will never charge you a cancellation fee for accommodation. However, in order to avoid a cancellation fee from the hotel, please make sure you cancel on time according to the cancellation policy of the hotel. You will find the cancellation policy on the section “Policies” of overview page of the hotel.
The other ordered services (transfer, sightseeing tour,..) you can cancel free of charge 48 hours before the commencement of using the service at the latest. In case of a later cancellation, you will be charged 100% of the price of the ordered services. Cancellation done directly at the service provider is not valid.

How do I know that my booking has been cancelled?
After you have cancelled your reservation you will receive an email to confirm your cancellation. If you do not receive the cancellation email, please send an email with the details of your reservation to b-group@b-group.cz.

Other FAQ

What documents should I present at the hotel when I arrive?
You have to show your email reservation confirmation and your identity papers.

What documents do I need to present when using other services (transfer, sightseeing tours,..)
You will receive a voucher or a reservation confirmation for each ordered service that you will present the service provider with.
