A festival Touch Písek

The tradition of the festival in Pisek was founded already in 1993. Today the festival under the name Touch Písek is one of the largest urban cultural events.

In 2009 the city celebrations take place in the spirit of the 18th century with a military battle in the streets of the city and with the arrival of the Empress Maria Theresa.
Tourist attractive centre of the town will host thousands of visitors in two days from the whole of the Czech Republic.
Entertainment program will begin already on Friday 12 June in the afternoon and will go on until late night, continue on Saturday during the whole day and night.
You'll see theatre shows and film screenings under the open skies, concerts of popular bands, medieval happenings, historical craft exhibitions, performances of various artists and spectacular fireworks.
Many interactive games and attractions are prepared for children.
