CZECH OPEN Pardubice

The 20th International Festival of Chess, Bridge and Games.

The festival consists of numerous tournaments in various games, including chess, bridge, go, scrabble, marriage, renju and gomoku, magic, draughts, shogi, backgammon, othello, mill, Rubik’s cube solving, poker, zatre, sudoku, kakuro, crossword puzzles, role playing games, live action role playing games, and others.

Attendant programme includes social evenings at the swimming pool, small football tournament and sports-entertaining evening, presentation of abstract board games from David Kotin´s collection, trips to the town of Kutna Hora and Kacina chateau, night excursion of the historical centre of the Pardubice town and the Pardubice castle, Pardubice medieval games in Pernstynske square, table tennis and bowling tournaments, chess blitz tournament for VIP, journalist and organizers, etc.

The Festival is under the auspices of the President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus.
