Cipískoviště 2009 at Písek

The traditional event of a town Písek will start the summer tourist season in the term May 15. -17., 2009.

CIPÍSKOVIŠTĚ - Písek (sand), water, air is a workshop for both children and adult. The sand giant sculptures will create as professional artists and the public.
The aim of the organizers, which is headed by the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Municipal Office of Písek, is focused action to the river Otava.
Cipískoviště will be accompanied by a number of cultural and entertainment events for the whole family. The big news should be a water stage, where from Friday to Sunday will be played several concerts of songs for little ones over a meeting of local choirs to popular and classical music. This unique water stage will also serve for the ceremony publication of winners of competitions.
It would be for the second time, when the Otava Dragon boat races will take place here.
Also this year there will be a competition for Cipísek singer and Cipísek dancer and children will measure the forces in the Fairy Tale Forest.
The program will be completed by the evening opening hours at the Municipal Power Plant, the exposition should be open until midnight.
For the first time the City Island will be also involved in the program, where fun tournament of minigolf and afterparties will be prepared.
Other news, the projection of the fairy tales of Rumcajs, prepares the Center of culture in cooperation with the Czech Television.
The traditional part of Cipískoviště will be the creative workshops in the Malt house. On good weather terms the Malt house will organize workshops of blacksmith, stone carving and other crafts open air in the courtyard. The Malt house will not forget the puppet theater for the tiny visitors.
