Crossroads Olomouc

This festival traverses Central European culture. Music, film, theatre, literature and visual arts all appear in various forms.

Crossroads Olomouc maintains the profile of a multi-genre festival that embraces a diverse spectrum of artistic activities. The aim of the festival is to introduce the separate cultures, as well as the different types and genres of art, of the concerned countries (the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Austria and Hungary) in a virtual Central European space, and through exhibitions of creative arts, film projections, theatre performances, concerts and literary gatherings. Visitors to the festival are presented with representative examples of contemporary arts from the individual countries and, at the same time, with the opportunity to directly confront their differences, as well as their points of contact.
