Dočesná - Hop harvest festival

Beer festival celebrating the symbolic end of the hop harvest will take part in Dočesná from Sep 5, 2008 (14:00) - Sep 6, 2008 (00:00).

A two-day celebration in the historic setting of the centre of this renowned hop region. The hop-growing summer will end with a cultural festival, including a cultural programme on a variety of stages, a selection of various brands of beer from both large and small breweries, amusements and fun, and an attempt on the world record in assembling a “snake” from empty plastic beer glasses. The festival has been held since 1957.
