Jihlava International Festival of Documentary Films
A competition festival of documentary films in Jihlava. This festival of the authorial document has become the largest event of its kind in central Europe, which presents contemporary czech, Central European and world documentary scenes.

Closing ceremony of visiting season 2010
Last weekend in October the visiting season will end at Sternberk Castle. On Thursday, October 28, 2010 the theatrical and fencing Exulis Company will perform the legendary story about a love, a treason and a revenge - The Count of Monte Cristo. On Saturday and Sunday, persons in historical costumes will guide visitors through the castle and at the end of each tour there will be learning about the history of weapons. The shooting will be ready for the bravest visitors. Each visitor will receive a small gift to the ticket.

Day of the Central Bohemian Region in Kutna Hora
On Independent Czechoslovak State Day there are prepared gratis tours of some historical buildings including additional programs in Kutna Hora. Two guided tours - The Silver town and The Silver path you can visit at the Czech Museum of Silver in Hrádek. At Kamenny dum there is placed the exposition of The Royal mining town – of bourgeois culture and life in the 17th – 19th century and the Lapidary with a unique collection of stone sculptures and architectural elements of the most important monuments of the town. The monument of J.K.Tyl offers to visit the exposition of J.K.Tyl and exhibition on Kutna Hora underground and its survey.

Halloween at Zbiroh Chateau
Also this year Zbiroh Chateau will revive with Halloween on 30th October. You can enjoy a march of a lampion parade through mysterious path with a surprise to the chateau, a program for witches, vampires and other mythical creatures, announcement of winners for the best Halloween masks and a lot more fun.

By Period Train Along the Prague Semmering
The seasonal diesel train, which runs as a part of the Prague Integrated Transport, is in service till 31st October including the bank holiday on 28th October. The Prague train, made up of period M 262.0 class wagons, runs on the route Prague-Hlavní nádraží to Prague-Zličín. The journey lasts about half an hour.
