Extension of the tour route at Raduň Chateau
Since the beginning of July the Raduň Chateau extended a guided tour and invite you to a visit.
A representative masters’ dining room, which is situated in the original site, extended the tour and visitors will thus be able to see the dining habits and customs of the noble family.
Its equipment with rococo gloriously carving furnishings completes a festive board for ten persons with painted and gilded porcelain dinner service of a prestigious mark Rosenthal, supplemented by a collection of tableware and a decoration of pottery and silver.
A dominant artifact of the large dining-room is a picture "March of the army" from the middle of the 18th century, restored in a year 2008 and now presented to a public for the first time.
This originally yeomanly fortress in Ostrava Region was rebuilt in the 16th century under property of Tvorkovští of Kravaře into a Renaissance chateau with three arcade wings. The chateau was completed by a service court, a brewery and a large mixed forest park with four ponds.
