Famed confectionery Myšák open again
Prague’s best-known interwar cafe, closed since the 1990s, has opened again in Vodičkova Street. After two years of restoration, it again offers its delights in a beautiful historic setting.
It was created by architect Jan Spacek, who has projected Café Slavia in Narodni street. An equipment of the confectionery is new - for example counters and bars were manufactured in Italy, chairs and tables were made in the Czech Republic. The confectionery has three floors, whereas on the lowest floor you will find a manufactory of desserts.
Some sweets are based on original recipes, some desserts are unusual and are produced according to their own recipe. The confectionery also offers truffles and chocolate confections, again from its own production. Lovers of ice cream can choose from 20 kinds of ice creams, the recipe was developed specifically for this confectionery.
