Festive season opening at chateau Slavkov - Austerlitz

The Chateau Slavkov will start the season on Thursday March 26, 2009 at 3:30 pm by the venissage of a photographer Peter Knötig entitled "The beauty of South Moravia".

Knötig Peter is currently a spokesman of Supreme Court in Brno and has dedicated to the photography for 12 years. As a part of opening will be the fashion show and auction of jewelry.

From the beginning of the season there will be again the exhibition with stamps of the Napoleonic theme, which was started in the end of the last tourist season. Stamps issue from countries around the world. The visitors can see this exhibition till 31 5. 2009 in parallel with the opening hours of the castle.

Another exhibition, which visitors will be able to admire, is a collection of butterflies of Otmar Beránek and Bedrich Małeček, which will be supplemented by photographs made by B. Maleček. The exhibition will be located in front of the entrance to the Castle and will be available to the public till November 2009.
