Go to Křivoklát Castle by the Easter Express

The Czech Railways in cooperation with Křivoklát Castle prepared a traditional steam train trip with the express locomotive 498.022 "Albatros" at the castle Křivoklát on Easter.

The steam express will go to Křivoklát in all three easter days April 11 - 13, 2009. The castle prepared an Easter craft fair for visitors, where will be seen woodcutters, basket-makers, gingerbread-makers, blacksmiths and other craftsmen.

In the castle area there will take place a rich cultural program. At the lower court, it will be possible to visit the gallery Nakřivo, a tearoom, a candle shop and a smithy. You can refresh yourself in the castle tap-room.

This year's event takes place under the name "Princely Easter at Křivoklát Castle". Together with the princely family you will transfer 150 years back to a time of our ancestors.

A new ecological project "Plastics do not belong to the nature and the history" will festively start at the castle. Just from Easter there will not be used plastic packages, cups, mats, etc.
