International Documentary Film Festival

The 13th annual of competition festival of documentary films in Jihlava in the Vysočina region.

This festival of original documentary films now stands as the largest event of its kind in Central Europe. It is known for its informal atmosphere, spirit of discussion, systematic support of documentaries, and editorial activities.

The festival is the largest festival of documentary films in the Central Europe, which mediates progressive and provocative documentary films on socially principal themes and maps the contemporary Czech, Central European and world documentary scene.

The festival initiates a dialogue between filmmakers and critical audience, supported by long discussion meetings after film screenings and other events.
