Napoleonic celebrations at Loučeň Chateau
Back to the historical era full of beautifully dressed figures will remind Napoleonic celebrations at Loučeň Chateau dating on May 2, 2009.
The celebration will get back until the year 1813, a few weeks before the fatal defeat Napoleon at the Battle of Nations at Leipzig.
At that time the Austrian Emperor Francis I met with his brother here, a leader Ferdinand Tuscan, to agree a joint strategy against Napoleon procedure. Only three weeks later the army of 70000 soldiers of Russian Prince Constantine arrived at Loučeň. On a way to Leipzig the army passed a few nights on the outskirts of the village, where they spread unpleasant epidemic.
All these events will remind a historical drama in five scenes, which will take place in a castle courtyard and on the meadow at the castle church.
Visitors will be able to see a field hospital in a park.
The last historical scene, which will close the program at 5:00 pm, will recapitulate the key results of the battle of Leipzig, after which the current ruler of the whole Europe became the main loser.
An interesting attraction for children will be certainly a training ground for soldiers.
