New Cabin Cable Way Janské Lázně – Černá hora (Mountain)
From Janské Lázně you can use the new cableway to the Černá hora (Mountain).
The cableway with cabins of eight places, the rise of 566 m, the length of 2 034 m and transportation capacity of 1 500 persons per hour become the main transportation facility of the skiing centre Černá hora (Mountain) – Janské Lázně that ranks among the highest quality winter areas of the Czech Republic.
The terrains for downhill skiing are found on the southern and south-eastern slopes of the Černá and neighbouring Světlá hora (Mountain). Available for the skiers are two cableways and twelve ski tows of different lengths and types, from the training meadows for the families with children up to the demanding downhill routes. The downhills in the local Ski Area achieve the length of 3 km and thus belong among the longest ones in the Czech Republic, the main routes are provided with the equipment for production of technical snow. For cross-country skiers arranged regularly are 50 km of tracks, the sledgers may try the 3.5 km long Černohorská sledging way.
