New exhibition of attic rooms in the Červená Lhota Chateau

Visit the new exhibition of attic rooms which will be opened from July 01, 2009.

At this new exhibition within the roof space visitors can see two nurseries, the butler’s quarters, a corridor, the picture gallery and the upper hall. Of great interest is the intriguing spatial design, cleverly overcoming the problem of connecting various floor levels resulting from the sharp differences in the height of the rooms on the level below.

In the second half of the 20th century these rooms were used as depositories. Restitutions relieved to depositories and provide a space for retrieval of these attic rooms. Installation work in the attic is a logical extension of modification of exposition in the 1st floor, which took place between 2004-2008.

A construction of Červená Lhota Castle in its core lies close the remains of the fortress from the 14th century. Today's renaissance building was originated after a year 1530 and was further revised several times. Castle interiors represent an authentic form of aristocratic apartment of last owners from time around 1910.

A part of the castle grounds is a landscape park, which received its present form at the turn of the 19th and 20 century. The park involved a castle pond, which offers a boat rental and renders from its level undreamed views of the castle building and the surrounding countryside.
