Open Doors Day at the Czernin Palace

On Sunday 13th June 2010 from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm after two years will be reopened the door to the Czernin Palace, the largest Prague baroque building of its kind.

The Czernin Palace serves as the headquarters of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Visitors will have a rare opportunity to visit the most interesting and most valuable rooms of the palace including Jan Masaryk´s apartment and gardens.

The guided tour is completed with several exhibitions of presentation activities of the Czech Republic abroad. One of them is yearly updated exhibition "Gratias Agit Price", which acquaints with laureates of awards of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The first Open Doors Day was held on 8th May 2006, another one on 14th September 2008, when around 5000 visitors visited the Czernin Palace during the day.

A gateway into the Czernin Palace is from the Loretto Square. The guided tour lasts about 60 minutes, picture taking is allowed.
