Pilsen Museum of Horrors
The Pilsen Museum of Horrors is located in the basement of the Hotel Central on náměstí Republiky (Republic Square), in the very centre of Pilsen.
The museum is situated in a lower excavated basement, with a well-preserved well, and an upper cellar space. The building, like the whole of Pilsen, is interwoven with legends, fairy stories, mysterious creatures and ghouls.
Look into the world of folk tales and magic from the forgotten times of old Pilsen and its surroundings, and take a tour among separate exhibitions full of ghouls and replicas of supernatural and fairy tale beings that relate to the history of Pilsen and the Pilsen region. See the mythological prince Radouš, water sprites, witches, Saracen demons, the burning dog, dragons and other nasty creatures typical of the region under Radyn castle.
