Pilsen’s Prazdroj Brewery belongs to the top industrial heritage sites in Europe

The Pilsen´s Prazdroj Brewery was added into a list of the International European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH) like the first certified industrial heritage site in the Czech Republic.

The European industrial heritage trail leads through 29 countries and links 350 different kinds of location - the highlights of the trail are certified sites which are divided into categories according to significance.

The company Pilsen's Prazdroj Brewery had to meet a number of conditions, many of which were concerned with tourism. Since this spring, brewery visitors have been able to enjoy an extended tour; a new exhibition on the production process and the raw ingredients used in the brewing of Pilsner Urquell beer focuses firmly on the past. Another new feature of the tour is a renovated period brewing kettle. Over 180,000 visitors from the Czech Republic and around the world take the standard tour every year.
