Pitman´s procession in Jihlava 2009

A parade of miners across the historical center towards an amphitheater. Ceremonial opening of the gate Jihlava. Venal songs Jihlava, stitters and old freak.

It's not only watching the beautiful costumes of each personage. It is primarily an allegory of former wealth, beauty and glory of the royal town of Jihlava. It is also a holiday for all citizens of the city and a great day for children who obtain an extraordinary relationship to the city in a presentation of historical figures.

Pitman´s procession will pass throught Jihlava 19th - 21 June 2009.
