The Curse of Gold – 1000 Years of Inca Gold

We would like to draw your attention to the exhibition "The Curse of Gold - 1000 years of Inca Gold", which is seen in the Supreme burgrave's Prague Castle and because of great interest has been extended to Oct 17, 2009.

The exhibition deals with the history of Andean Nations, their Spanish conquerors, the unfortunate fate of gold and inevitable consequences of these events.
The highlight of the exhibition is nearly 90 original golden exhibits from the Museo de Oro in Lima (Peru) with an unique historic-artistic importance. Masks, cups, bowls and jewelry of gold from the period between 400 B.C. to 1500 A.D. document an unique treasure of Inca Nations.
