The Evženie Health Spa in Klášterec nad Ohří

Klášterec nad Ohří is well known for the production of porcelain as well as for its health spa, which bears the name Evženie (named after the local healing spring).

The Klášterec health spa started operating at the end of the 19th century; however, it started a slow process of decay in the first half of the 20th century. Following a process of reconstruction, the health spa has now been reopened again after many years. The Evženie bath house now offers many treatment procedures and wellness type stays.

After extending the Evženie bathhouse with an annex building, guests can now enjoy a roofed swimming pool, hydro-massaging equipment, various kinds of baths, electro-treatment, sauna, balneal therapy, other physiotherapy procedures, and a wellness relaxation centre. Also added were new social premises and accommodation, enlarging the existing health resort pension.

In the mineral water filling room, visitors can try mineral water from three springs. The well-known Evženie mineral water spring was discovered in 1883, and several years later it was declared to be a healing spring.
