The open gate at Buchlov Castle on Boxing Day

A traditional event with a rich program will be held on Saturday 26th December 2009. The castle gate will be opened at 10:00 am.

At the 1st courtyard- traditional exhibition of Christmas trees - the decoration created the skilful hands of children of nursery and primary schools
At the 2nd courtyard - a live nativity scene around which all of us can sing Christmas carols with a choir Magna Mysteria, an exhibition of nativity scenes, historical postcards with Christmas theme from private collections, Christmas arrangements of flowers and decorations and an exhibition of historical Christmas decorations that decorated Christmas trees of our grandparents.

There can not be missing a possibility to refresh yourselves at a castle pub „U Hanuša“ at the 2nd courtyard, where skilled hands prepare for you fresh pick-sticking, mulled wine, punch and other various Christmas goodies.
