Tourfilm Karlovy Vary

The 41st international film festival of films and videos with a tourism theme will be held in Karlovy Vary from Oct 8 to Oct 9, 2008.

TOURFILM is the oldest world’s festival of tourism films, it came into existence in 1967.
Originally 30 countries participated in the Festival whilst nowadays more than 135 countries take part. There are various categories of films, DVDs and videos with the themes of countries, regions, cities and towns. Professionals from the Czech Republic as well as from abroad participate in TOURFORUM, the professional part of TOURFILM.

The festival includes Tour Region Film - the 14th national festival videos and multimedia presentations with a travel and tourism theme.

The festival has a very good accompanying programme – exhibitions, press conferences and various social events.
