Try innovations of this winter season

For the first time in the season the ski-lifts in Harrachov, Lipno and Klinovec started last week. Among the well-known ski resorts you can also find complete novelties. Use the plentiful snowfall and go to try it!

This year there was invested almost 1,5 milliard of Czech crowns in the Czech mountains, so that there is a lot of innovations and improvements. Operators of ski resorts bought snowmaking equipment, started new ski-lifts and built children's parks.

However, the opening of new ski resorts is the biggest change. For the first time skiers can go skiing in a modern ski resort Kouty in Jeseníky Mountains, which was built after the model of alpine resorts. The operation started last Saturday, when visitors could try the first 6chairs ski-lift in the Czech Republic, more than 2 km long ski slopes, a snow park and a children's park.

In new ski resort Sneznik Dolni Morava in Kralicky Sneznik children can enjoy snow in a child´s paradise with a comfortable movable track and a ski roundabout. All lovers of slight winter adrenaline surely appreciate 2.5 km lighted toboggan run.

Also the ski resort Obri Sud Javornik underwent major modification. It is an ideal place for skiers, snowboarders and those who love the ride on the bobsleigh track. The local bobsleigh track is ranked with its length of 1.1 km among one of the longest in the Czech Republic.
