World War One on foot. Through the object-lens of an unknown soldier
The exhibition of copy photos of unknown Czech photographer, a soldier of World War I, is opened at Prague Castle - Old Royal Palace.
The collection of unique photos from a hard journey from Austria to Italy in 1916 has not been fully presented to a public yet.
The exhibition World War One on Foot allows the visitors to peek inside this time of war. The main part of the pictures on display is related to the Italian front documenting the life of the 47th infantry regiment. The smaller part is related to the Eastern front in Galicia where the “Czech” 28th infantry regiment fought.
The exhibition is held under the auspices of the President of the Czech Republic.
Term of exhibiton: 10 Apr 2009 - 19 Jul 2009, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
