XVIII Festival Mitte Europa

Festival performances take place over the course of seven summer weeks along the Czech-German border.

The theme of the 18th year of the festival is “Humour is the salt of the Earth” (Karel Čapek).

Culture brings people together - a characteristic of the festival is the bringing together of three Central European border areas and two nationalities with a programme of events which offers classical music fans the opportunity to attend concerts featuring internationally renowned artists. In addition, audiences can also enjoy jazz, klezmer, art, workshops and much more.
