Year 2009 (1309–2009) = 700 YEARS OF THE TOWN OF ČESKÝ KRUMLOV

The year 2009 represents a significant landmark for the town: Český Krumlov will commemorate the 700th anniversary since its foundation.

During these ceremonies the town prepares traditional cultural events within all year, like for example Five-petalled Rose Celebrations and The St. Wenceslas Celebrations, which are closely adherent to a history and belong to the most important cultural events in the town.

The town prepares also events directly devoted to this jubilee. The main exhibition will be at the region´s museum with a presentation of the main history of the town.

The town is ready to welcome eminent guests.
